Musician, composer, arranger, multi instrumentalist, Emerson Boy is an outstanding artist whose presence is noted among the musicians who seek the renewal of Brazilian music.

Attuned to the new languages​​, but with his roots in the traditions, his music moves between the traditional rhythms like coco, repente, calango, rock, samba rock, funk, soul, and Caribbean genders, in search of happy, danceable, provocative and interactive soundscapes.

He has written songs in partnerships with poets like: Paul Leminski, Fred Maia, Sady Bianchi, Pedro Rocha, Climério Ferreira, Lirinha, among others. His records include: República Federativa Brasil Pavão – Banda Tiroteiro; Sotaques Brasileiros – Café, Conserto e Lanternagem;  Antídoto and  Vírus.
